AWOL

I haven't been blogging... as it was brought to my attention by a friend that I haven't talked to in....... a couple of years? apparently we've both had a tough time of it in the past year or two.... Anyway.... i'm 1 year, 1 month and 1 week past my diagnosis. 1 year and 10 days past my surgery to remove the lobe of my lung. 9 months, 2 weeks, and 6 days past the end of my chemo. 6 months and 10 days past the end of radiation. not that i'm counting or anything. so far, so good. still cancer free. next scan (and scanxiety) is December 19, with the report on the 21st. i'm counting on the doctor not ruining xmas. oh, and i've beaten the first set of odds.... the median life expectancy for someone with my stage of my cancer is 15 months... that would be december 9. looks like i'm going to beat that one. nyah nyah! cancer can kiss my ass!
